our aging population

Our population is aging  they need more healthcare and being taken care of is a very important thing that we should be doing. the article as good as it gets was talking about how good the healthcare was in the Netherlands compared to us. The costs are far cheaper than our healthcare and they have a seventy percent satisfaction rating for their healthcare. We only have a forty percent satisfaction rating and the costs are so expensive for operations and medications. They also talked about having home care workers instead of going to the doctor or hospital. I found these stats and information very interesting and useful. Hopefully we can learn from the Netherlands and take care of our elderly because we will be becoming that age as well hoping that we are getting take care of. Healthcare is so very important without healthcare we would have a lot of problems with no ways to solve those problems. The good thing about us is there's not much of a wait to get treatment whereas other places have more of wait times, but we pay the price for that though. They said a pacemaker operation in the Netherlands cost five thousand compared to us in the U.S. we pay fifteen to twenty thousand just for the pacemaker and forty thousand all together with the operation. Things are getting so expensive nowadays. Thank you for listening to my spiel.

love after a child

there is still love after a child you have to be willing to make time for each other so when you have that special time together you have the chance to express your love for one another. In the article love after a child they were so involved with the gender roles. It all depends on the person if the father is always willing to help out then it puts less stress on the mother so she doesn't feel like she's doing everything and they have more time for each other. It's really important to share the roles so the child also sees that mommy and daddy are acting like a team and that's what I want to be like when I grow up. Most of the time the mother does do it all and that puts a huge strain on her to also be a partner and lover. She becomes so worried about making sure the kids are taken care of and the house as well. The fathers should learn to always help out they should help rear the child after all the child is theirs as well. Nowadays it seems a lot more of a balancing act we are seeing more stay at home dad's which that wouldn't of happened earlier in the years. They are becoming more involved which is great. Thank you for listening.

divorce and the effects on children

divorce can hold a lot of developmental problems for children like the article should we stay together for the children states. Emotional problems later on in life waiting for that one special person that may not come it puts a lot of strain on kids and even into their adult lives. They have troubles keeping relationships and if they do it's very hard for them to be happy because they are so worried that it might happen to them with what happened to their parents. The parents though if they are in an abusive relationship or something that is very bad on the parent then they need to make sure that the kids know that you did that for the right reasons for your safety and your kids safety. Another thing that helps to ease the pain is to make sure that they are still able to do the same kinds of things that they were doing the same school same routine with no changes. Making sure they are able to see the other parent can also play a big role in the kids life. I have a friend of mine that his parents divorced when he was young and he struggled with drug problems and being in a dark place, but luckily just me being there for him and helping him through things was very helpful and he was seeking help.

teenagers mind

It's so fascinating that the teenage mind is not fully developed that's why they make bad decisions and don't think about what they're doing. The prefrontal cortex is shutoff which is responsible for keeping the brain in check when they are about to do something stupid. Teenagers it's been shutoff and they are only working with the limbic system which is responsible for emotions and feelings. I never knew this because we were all teenagers once and probably drove our parents crazy with the things we did, but we didn't know any better really we were doing what we thought was a good idea. Our brains weren't fully developed so that's why we were making stupid decisions and doing things that didn't make sense. Anorexia is so very sad the kids get made fun of for being fat and then they begin to feel like they're fat when they are not it's so very sad. People can be mean sometimes. The prefrontal cortex doesn't mature till they are in their mid 20s that explains the moods swings and why they want to just stay in their room and listen to music away from everyone.

parenting

It does seem like so many parents don't actually want to do their jobs for example, they don't care if they watch scary raunchy inappropriate movies. It's really sad it's like where did the parents go we have higher teenage pregnancy rates as well. Parents need to be there talking to their kids about these kinds of things. Making sure that none of these kinds of problems exist. If not the kids will miss out on their innocence and have to develop into an adult way sooner than expected they are supposed to enjoy their teen years not have to worry about mothering or fathering a baby. Kids need to be taught about things that can be harmful and dangerous. Their is temptation everywhere but if kids were taught very good there wouldn't be so many drugs and alcohol on the streets because the kids would know that it's wrong and I shouldn't be doing this it's bad my parents warned me about it. It seems That does not help a child develop good they need that strict but guiding hand throughout their lives. The kids end up walking all over the parents and the parents feel like there is nothing they can do they just give in. We have to enforce the standards that we set forth for the kids so they know that there are rules that need to be followed and if not then there will be consequences. That's my spiel thanks for listening.
