parenting
It does seem like so many parents don't actually want to do their jobs for example, they don't care if they watch scary raunchy inappropriate movies. It's really sad it's like where did the parents go we have higher teenage pregnancy rates as well. Parents need to be there talking to their kids about these kinds of things. Making sure that none of these kinds of problems exist. If not the kids will miss out on their innocence and have to develop into an adult way sooner than expected they are supposed to enjoy their teen years not have to worry about mothering or fathering a baby. Kids need to be taught about things that can be harmful and dangerous. Their is temptation everywhere but if kids were taught very good there wouldn't be so many drugs and alcohol on the streets because the kids would know that it's wrong and I shouldn't be doing this it's bad my parents warned me about it. It seems That does not help a child develop good they need that strict but guiding hand throughout their lives. The kids end up walking all over the parents and the parents feel like there is nothing they can do they just give in. We have to enforce the standards that we set forth for the kids so they know that there are rules that need to be followed and if not then there will be consequences. That's my spiel thanks for listening.

I wished that babies came with instruction manuals but unfortunately they don’t, so when we say parents aren’t doing their jobs, I think it is such a personal choice as to how we raise them. There are so many types parenting styles and it is such a controversial topic these days. Parents that allow their kids to watch raunchy inappropriate shows or movies, might think they are doing the right thing, they might think they are exposing them to the world around them, we like to think we are all doing it right, but if that were the case we would be seeing perfect children every day in society. I agree that as a parent our main job is to keep our kids safe, and teach them from right and wrong, and also to talk to them as much as possible. But as far as all the other parenting styles, some people think they doing it right, but you just never really know how it all turns out until they are all grown up.
ReplyDeleteI agree that parents need to have rules and to guide there children. That is why children are to be at home in till they are 18. They need every one of those years to count and to be guided by loving parents that are involved in there life to give them a guiding hand to make smart decisions. I have seen so many of my friends, including myself that had to grow up way to fast. Being a teenager is still a learning experience and children shouldn't be forced to fend for there self's and be pushed into being an adult before they are ready.
